Courgettes are a versatile vegetable and are available all year round. Excellent steamed or eaten raw. Can also be grilled, fried or roasted. They are gentle on the intestines and can alleviate bladder and kidney inflammation. Recommended for diabetics, and are also useful for insomnia.
